Treat
in store for home hunters as Trinity Mead opens its doors
Home
hunters in Stratford upon Avon are in for a treat with the opening of
the town's newest address, Trinity Mead.
Set
to provide around 650 new homes over the next few years, Trinity Mead
has already attracted some of the country's leading quality house builders,
who will offer a range of stylish new homes at the superb location on
the outskirts of the town.
Infrastructure
works began back in the summer and as the New Year approaches Bryant
Homes are preparing to offer the first new homes for sale. They will
be followed by Westbury Homes, as well as George Wimpey Homes, Barratt
Homes and several other house builders.
Trinity
Mead has been brought to fruition by a consortium comprising Stratford
on Avon District Council, Bryant Homes and Heron Land Developments and
will also provide significant community benefit, as Trinity Mead spokesperson,
Mr Stephen Bailey explains:
"As
well as providing much needed new homes for Stratford, including affordable
new homes" says Mr Bailey, "Trinity Mead will be accompanied by the
provision of large areas of public open space for local people to enjoy.
It will also be marked by the establishment of a community woodland,
as well as extensive meadowlands and a number of other community benefits."
There
will be new cycle and pedestrian links, integrated bus routes and a
new children's play area. Also, as part of the overall development plan
for Trinity Mead, the new Southern Relief Road Eastern Extension (SSR)
will be constructed, which will go some way to easing the traffic congestion
currently experienced to the south east of the town.
"The
aim at Trinity Mead is to provide a distinctive and characterful development
to match the exceptional personality of the town of Stratford-upon-Avon,"
says Mr Bailey.
"The
design-led approach of consortium partners has produced a detailed development
design brief for Trinity Mead, with the aim of setting the right tone
for the whole scheme and making it one of the most sought-after areas
to live in in Stratford."
