Worthing, West Sussex...
Future development land:
West Durrington, to the north west of Worthing in West Sussex,
is a proposed development on land allocated for residential
purposes in the Deposit Local Plan adopted by Worthing in
October 2003. The development is being progressed by a consortium
comprising Heron Land, Persimmon Homes and Taywood Homes.

The planning application is for 875 homes, a first and middle
school, playing fields and other facilities. A revised Outline
Planning Application has been submitted together with detailed
Environmental Statements, Traffic Input Analysis and Master
Plan.
Planning permission is expected by Spring 2005. For more
